This is a little sketch I went too far on, inspired by a similar drawing hanging in someone else’s art studio. This drawing now hangs in my studio window.

This character is Lightning, from my series, “Baby Werewolves: Free To A Good Home”. At the moment, he’s only featured in written stories, but do expect some comics eventually.

Fast fact: this started as a Christmas image for my homepage, but I didn’t finish it in time. Notice that his left ear is drooping. That’s because there was originally an ornament hanging from it.

You would never guess what the weather was like the day I got the idea for this comic. I considered doing this as I got the idea, but I didn’t want the glass to get chipped, so I settled for just craving some lemonade.

This was my first experience using a paint brush and India ink to draw a comic, and I must say I’m quite pleased with the results.
